ABOUT ME

Hey! I’m James T.KO, a music producer, songwriter and mixing engineer based out of Los Angeles, CA! I’ve been immersed in music for over 15 years, starting my journey in the orchestral and live music scenes of New Orleans before making the move to LA over a decade ago.

I work across a wide range of styles, specializing in Pop, R&B, and Alt-Rock, with a deep love for the indie and pop-rock space. My background in live instrumentation and orchestral arrangement allows me to bring a unique, organic musicality to every track I touch.

To date, projects I’ve worked on have amassed over 21 million streams. My 'big break' came through a collaboration with Fresco Trey and the producer G.O., and since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible artists like Diana Deeb, Amit Shauli, Drew Patrick, Alex Hager, and Noa Mazar.

Beyond the studio, I’m a big believer in the 'producer as a creator' mindset. I’m constantly documenting my process and sharing sound design insights to help other artists and producers navigate the journey from a rough demo to a world-class record.

When I’m not in the DAW or creating content, I’m focused on personal growth, exploring the LA food scene, and staying active. I’m a student of the psychology of success, and I bring that high-energy, disciplined mindset into every session to ensure we aren’t just making a song—we’re building a career.
