ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm James "T.KO" — a producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer based in Los Angeles. What makes my records different is simple: I actually play. I'm not a beatmaker pulling from a sample pack. I'm a trained musician who writes, performs, produces, and mixes the whole song myself.

That training runs deep. I hold a degree in Music Performance, served as principal horn, and I've spent over 20 years as a multi-instrumentalist — guitar, bass, keys, drums, and french horn. I can write and arrange for a full orchestra, and I use music theory in the DAW every single day. It started in the orchestral and live-music scenes of New Orleans before I made the move to LA, and that foundation is what lets me bring real, organic musicality to every track — across Pop, R&B, and Alt-Rock, with a deep love for the indie and pop-rock space.

To date, projects I've worked on have passed over 26 million streams. My 'big break' came through a collaboration with Fresco Trey and producer G.O., and since then I've had the pleasure of working with incredible artists like Diana Deeb, Amit Shauli, Drew Patrick, Alex Hager, Noa Mazar and more!
