I'm James "T.KO" — a producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer in Los Angeles. The difference is simple: I actually play. Twenty years on guitar, plus bass, keys, drums, and french horn, a degree in music performance, and orchestral arrangement training I use in the DAW every single day.

That means you don't hand your song to a beatmaker, then a topline writer, then a mix engineer, and hope it all lines up. You hand it to one person who writes, plays, produces, and mixes it into a finished, competitive record. Independent in budget — major-label in sound.
